“Like. I. Look. Totally. Perfect. As. A. Doll.” The voice rang out.
‘Oh my god, that’s my voice. But I don’t want to say that!’ Hanna mentally yelled.
“I. Totally. Love. My. Nails.” The voice continued. To Hanna’s surprise her hand moved out as if to examine the plastic nails on the end of her equally plastic hand.
‘Crap, I didn’t do that. I have to get out of here before-‘ Hanna’s attempt to escape was cut off my her feet suddenly moving on their own, the steps quite small and repetitive. Try as she might she couldn’t get her body to stop moving as it walked to the back doors and pushed them open.
“I. Am. Going. To. Be. Late. For. Work!’ the doll said as it shuffled back into the back. Entering a room Hanna couldn’t help but mentally gasp, an entire room full of dolls, identical to how Hanna now looked in every way, standing perfectly still, eyes facing forward, smiling at nothing. The doll took her place at the front of one of the lines and assumed an identical pose. Just one of a hundred.
